For your safety, prescription drugs need the attention of your physician. If you are on long term, maintenance medications, refills may be provided during your office visit. However, you may be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment for further refills.
In some cases, it may be necessary to phone in prescription refills to your pharmacy. Refills should be requested at last five (5) days PRIOR to running out of the needed medication. All efforts will be made to refill prescriptions within 24 hours of the patient’s request. To expedite this process, you will be directed to a prescription refill phone line in which patients will be instructed to leave their name, phone number, date of birth, name of physician, preferred pharmacy, and the name and strength of their medication.
Patients experiencing difficulties or complications with their prescription or treatment should notify the office of their Tri-City physician immediately.
